(Graettinger)– Officials with the Graettinger-Terril and Ruthven-Ayrshire School District announced today (Monday) they’ll be implementing a mask mandate for all students and staff effective Tuesday (Sept. 29th).
School officials say the mandate is being implemented based on increasing positivity rates in Palo Alto county.
The mandate not only applies to those in school buildings, but also on buses and other forms of district transportation and for those attending indoor activities.
District officials also announced today (Monday) there will be a “Planned Virtual Day” on Wednesday, October 7th. They say it will help prepare in the event they would need to transition to a hybrid learning model sometime in the future.
