(Sherburn, Mn.)– Simultaneous house fires Saturday evening kept some Fire Departments in southern Minnesota on the run.
Firefighters from Sherburn and Dunnell were called around 8:30 pm to a house fire in Dunnell. Fire Departments from Alpha, Ceylon and Welcome were called for assistance with pumpers and manpower.
A little more than an hour later, firefighters were alerted to a house fire in Sherburn. A pumper truck from the Alpha Fire Department along with a Sherburn firefighter responded to that scene. Fire departments from Welcome, Trimont and Alpha responded to that location.
Officials say both houses are believed to be total losses.
There was no immediate word on a possible cause of either fire.
No injuries were reported.
