(Des Moines)– The Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division announced Friday it has filed an additional five hearing complaints on businesses, including one in the Iowa Great Lakes, accused of violating terms of Governor Kim Reynolds’ emergency public health disaster proclamation.
A press release from the agency says the Barefoot Bar allegedly to failed to comply with social distancing regulations spelled out in the proclamation on four different dates in August.
The ABD says it continues to actively enforce compliance with the Governor’s proclamation.
A violation puts a business at risk of a fine or suspension or revocation of its liquor license.
