Sibley-Ocheyedan School Board To Meet In Emergency Session Regarding COVID Outbreak

September 24, 2020

(Sibley)– The Sibley-Ocheyedan School Board will meet in emergency session at 7:00 this (Thurs.) evening to discuss new strategies in light of a Covid outbreak in the district’s schools.

In a press release, Superintendent James Craig says the board will consider a plan to implement social distancing practices. He says more details will be released following the meeting, adding there will be no school tomorrow (Friday) so teachers can rearrange classrooms to accommodate the measures. He says classes will resume Monday, September 28th and that activity and athletic practices will still be held Friday.
