(Rock Valley)– A two vehicle collision Tuesday morning in Sioux county claimed the life of a Rock Valley man.
Authorities say 61-year-old Stephen Richter of Rock Valley was driving a 1995 Freightliner straight truck and 51-year-old Robert De Jong, also of Rock Valley, was driving a 2003 Buick Park Avenue when the two collided at an intersection about three miles south of Rock Valley.
De Jong was pronounced dead at the scene; Richter was taken by ambulance to the Rock Valley hospital.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says the collision remains under investigation.
