(Spencer)– Spencer City Manager Amanda Mack is getting some special recognition. The International City/County Management Association has selected Mack as the recipient of it’s Early Career Leadership Award. It recognizes an outstanding early-career local government professional who has demonstrated leadership, competency and commitment to local government as a profession.
Mack will be honored with the recognition during a digital event September 23rd-26th.
She has served as City Manager in Spencer since 2018. Prior to that Mack served as the Chief Administrator in Worthing and Canton, South Dakota. She serves on the ICMA Executive Board and is president-elect of the Spencer Rotary Club.
