(Fostoria)– Minor injuries were reported Wednesday in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 71 and 280th Street near Fostoria.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 82-year-old Maude Baker of Dickens was driving a 2003 Dodge Dakota eastbound on 280th Street and 55-year-old Brian Dalziel of Spirit Lake was driving a 2013 Ford F-150 northbound on Highway 71.
Minor injuries were reported but apparently neither driver was taken to a hospital.
Baker was cited for failure to yield upon entering a through highway.
$5,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle driven by Baker; the pickup Dalziel was driving sustained an estimated $8,000 in damage.
Fostoria Fire and Rescue and Bud’s Service assisted on the scene.
The collision took place around 5:30 pm.
