(Des Moines, IA) — The Iowa Department of Public Health is reporting 918 new positive tests for COVID-19, increasing the state’s total to 76-thousand-968 cases.
Fourteen more Iowans have died of coronavirus complications which brings the death toll to one-thousand-248.
Two-hundred-71 people are hospitalized with COVID in Iowa, 85 patients are in intensive care and 36 are on ventilators.
There are currently 39 outbreaks in long-term care facilities in the state.
Seven counties now have a have a two-week average positivity rate over 15 percent: Sioux, Lyon, Plymouth, Winnebago, Carroll, Crawford and Osceola.
