(Sibley)– Officials in the Sibley-Ocheyedan Community Schools say a district employee is confirmed to have COVID-19.
In a letter to parents issued Sunday evening, Superintendent James Craig says the staff member will be quarantined at home for 14 days from the onset of symptoms.
Craig says the person was isolated in their duties and as a result, no one else will be required to quarantine.
The person’s identity and their position weren’t being released due to privacy issues.
Craig says as of now this is the first and only case in the Sibley-Ocheyedan Community Schools that they are aware of at this time.
