Seasons Center for Behavioral Health has been awarded a $2,000 grant from the Emmet county COVID-19 Response Fund to support individuals and families in Emmet County.
Program Support Coordinator Sarah Henrichs says, the grant funding will be used to help residents access important services. “During the COVID-19 pandemic, we at Seasons Center have seen an increase in anxiety and depression as are faced with the stresses of the pandemic including isolation, uncertainty, changes in routines and schedules as well as jobs lost and even illness. This grant project is assisting us with providing assistance to clients and families by increasing access to necessary behavioral health services. We’ve been able to assist clients by purchasing cell phones, with minutes and data plans, paying for current phone plans or internet fees. In addition to that, we are able to assist with immediate financial needs for those impacted by COVID-19.”
She notes that Seasons Center maintains a crisis line for those in need. “We have a 24/7 crisis line here at Seasons. The phone number for that is 1-844-345-4569.”
