(Spirit Lake)– An investigation Tuesday evening into a report of a suspicious person at the Center Lake Village mobile home park in Spirit Lake resulted in the arrest of a man on multiple charges.
Spirit Lake police say they were called to that location shortly after 8:00 pm. The person was said to be on the reporting party’s property even after being confronted by the homeowner. Upon arriving officers made contact with the suspicious person and determined the suspect was in possession of a firearm. The man was detained without incident.
Upon further investigation the suspect, 29-year-old Dylan Robert Hurd of Spirit Lake was arrested and charged with felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a dangerous weapon while intoxicated and public intoxication.
Hurd was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
