A neighbor expressed her opposition to the requested change…
“I urge you as a neighbor, but also as a part of the entire Grand Avenue neighborhood, as well as a Spencer citizen, I urge you to reaffirm the commitment that you’ve already made, and that is to sustain and enhance the residential and historic character of residential Grand.”
The council’s vote to uphold the recommendation denying the requested change was unanimous.
