(Rock Rapids)– Minor injuries were reported Friday in a collision involving a pickup and a side-by-side in Lyon county.
Authorities say 67-year-old Joel Rosenboom of George was driving a 2013 Kawasaki side-by-side and was being followed by 53-year-old Junell Grady of Ashton who was driving a 1999 Ford Ranger pickup. Deputies say Rosenboom had pulled over to the side of the road and was attempting to turn into a field drive when the two collided.
Minor injuries were reported to both Rosenboom and Grady.
Rosenboom was cited for improper left turn.
The mishap took place shortly after 10:30 am Friday about a mile south of George.
