(Storm Lake)-Buena Vista University will be implementing some restrictions this fall to help curb the spread of COVID-19. Officials with the University say no guests or visitors will be allowed on campus and no external eents will be held on campus through December 31st.
University officials say on-campus visits for prospective students will resume Monday, July 27th from 10 am to 1 pm. The visits are limited to two appointments in each time slot to allow time for safety measures and to clean. Virtual visits are still available at 9 am and 11 am.
BVU officials add that campus programming and student organization engagement will abide by safety guidelines and, when possible, be complemented by simulcast or video recordings. They say outdoor event spaces will be utilized as needed to ensure social distancing, and that intramural sports and e-sports will be conducted with the appropriate precautions in place.
THE BVU Homecoming football game will continue as planned on October 10, but several of the events will be celebrated virtually.
