Lake Park Woman perishes following Rollover Accident in Osceola County

(Sibley)-The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says a Lake Park woman was killed following an incident which occurred on Saturday afternoon. Officials responded to a report of a rollover accident on Warbler Avenue half of mile north of Highway 9 where the reporting party stated that a female passenger had been injured.

Officers say Christopher Michael Bosma, age 48 of Lake Park, was driving a 2014 Polaris Ranger 900 XP eastbound on the Ed Winkel Memorial Trail and turned north onto Warbler Avenue. Bosma reportedly accelerated aggresively and a female passenger was ejected. She was transported to Osceola Regional Health Center by The Ocheyedan Ambulance, where she succumbed to her injuries. The victim has been identified as Kelsie Kae Sturm, age 34 of Lake Park.

The accident remains under investigation.

The Ocheyedan Ambulance, Sibley Ambulance, Harris Fire Department and the Iowa State Patrol assisted at the scene.
