(Estherville)– The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office has released details into a traffic stop back on July 3rd of this year that resulted in drug charges being filed against a juvenile.
Authorities say a deputy initiated the stop around 1:00 that afternoon in the 4100 block of 200th street.
Upon investigating it was determined a 16-year-old male juvenile in the vehicle was allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
The juvenile was taken into custody and was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; possession of a controlled substance…cannabinol and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The juvenile was released to an adult family member and was referred to juvenile court services.
