Test Iowa Clinic Site To Remain In Spirit Lake A While Longer

July 17, 2020

(Spirit Lake)– Updated numbers are in for this week from the Test Iowa Clinic in Spirit Lake. Jennifer Gustafson of Lakes Regional Healthcare tells KUOO news as of late this (Fri.) morning, 438 people have been tested this week at the site…Gustafson Update01

“Since we started the Test Iowa clinic on June 22nd we have tested 2,679 people through the Test Iowa clinic. Of those people, about 60 percent of them are Dickinson county residents and out of those we also had 207 people identified as positive with COVID-19.”

Gustafson says they continue to be pleased with the number of people coming through the site and that as a result it will still be here another week…Gustafson Update02

“We will have it still at the ice rink at 3800 Sunner Avenue in Spirit Lake next week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm so everything will still remain the same next week as well, so we’re happy about that.”

Testing at the site is free and is open to all Iowa residents, but you must first complete an online assessment at Test Iowa-dot-com.
