Sioux County Authorities Asking For Public’s Help As The Investigate A Collision That Injured A Worthington Man

July 17, 2020

(Sioux Center)– Authorities in Sioux county are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a crash Wednesday that injured a Worthington man.

The Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Dayton Williamson of Worthington was driving a 2002 Ford F-150 eastbound on 370th Street at the intersection with Hickory Avenue. Williamson told deputies a blue minivan that was northbound on Hickory Avenue failed to yield from a stop sign and collided with his vehicle, causing it to go into the ditch and roll.

Williamson sustained minor injuries but didn’t seek immediate treatment. About $2,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle he was driving.

The collision took place shortly before 4:30 pm. Anyone with information regarding it is asked to contact the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.
