RISE Ministries announces postponement of RiseFest to 2021

July 16, 2020

(Sheldon)-RiseFest  2020 has now been postponed to 2021, KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:

RiseFest 2020 has been postponed to 2021

RISE Ministries in Sheldon has announced that RiseFest 2020 has been postponed to 2021.

Founder Rob Roozeboom says it was a difficult decision to make.  “It has definitely been an agonized decision that we have been working through over the last months and weeks, just trying to figure out if there’s a way we could have modified the festival and we probably could have, but it would not have been the same experience that festival goers have been accustomed to.  So, with very heavy hearts, we decided that the best option was to postpone it until 2021.”

He adds that there are several options for tickets holders.  “If you have a ticket, there’s an easy option, and that is to do absolutely nothing with it, you just roll it over into 2021, your ticket will be good for next year’s festival.  If you’d like to help out the ministry and some of our projects that we’ve got going, we have this other option.  We’re working the permanent stage and we’re not 100 percent done with it yet, so they can actually donate their ticket this year.  That will help us finish this project.  And then the last option is, there is a refund policy from now until July 31st.”
