(Spencer)– An investigation into a report of a domestic disturbance Tuesday evening resulted in the arrest of a Peterson man on multiple charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called around 10:25 pm to 216 Walnut Street in Peterson after getting a 911 call. Upon arriving deputies learned a suspect, 45-year-old Gary Gunnerson, had left the residence. Gunnerson was located a short time later and ran from deputies, resulting in a short foot pursuit. He was captured and was taken into custody on charges of domestic abuse, obstruction of emergency communications, interference with official acts and public intoxication.
Gunnerson was booked into the Clay couty jail pending a court appearance.
