(Worthington, Mn.)– A pursuit Friday that started on Highway 9 west of Lake Park ended near Worthington with an arrest.
KUOO news has learned it started after police in Lake Park were notified of a suspicious vehicle. Upon the officer arriving on the scene of the report, the vehicle took off westbound on Highway 9. Authorities managed to pull over the vehicle near Harris but the driver took off when an officer approached. Another pursuit ensued going north and west with deputies from the Dickinson and Osceola County Sheriff’s Offices joining in. It finally ended a couple of miles or south of Worthington on Reed Avenue in Nobles county where the driver was taken into custody.
While details are sketchy, the Nobles county jail roster indicated Lexie Marie Harris was arrested on a charge of fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle.
