Drive Through Voting Being Implemented For Today’s (June 2nd) Primary Election In Emmet County

June 02, 2020

(Estherville)– There’s a new twist in voting in today’s (Tues.) primary election in one northwest Iowa county.

Voters in Emmet county are voting at a drive through location that’s been established at the Emmet County Fairgrounds in Estherville.

County Auditor Amy Sathoff says it’s been a hit with voters so far and that they’ve been seeing a good turnout.

The Emmet county polling location, like all others throughout Iowa, is open until 9:00 pm.
