UTV Crash Sends Two People To The Hospital

May 27, 2020

(Sanborn)– A crash around 3:30 pm Monday in O’Brien county involving a utility vehicle sent two people to the hospital.

Authorities say 36-year-old Tasha Kinnetz of Sanborn was operating the vehicle on some gravel when her sandal apparently got stuck on the gas pedal, causing her to lost control of the UTV. The vehicle rolled twice, throwing Kinnetz and an eight-year-old boy from Melvin off of it.

Kinnetz was taken by ambulance to the Sheldon hospital with what was believed to be serious injuries. The boy sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital by private vehicle.
