During her press conference today (Wed.) Governor Kim Reynolds was asked several times regarding a spike in cases in Buena Vista county, which was approaching 700 as of late morning. More than 400 of those have been reported in the past day or so. The Governor declined to say whether the spike can be attributed to an outbreak at any certain facility in Buena Vista county…
“So at this point they have not met the criteria but we’re testing to make sure that we understand what the scope of that is and how we can start to isolate those who are testing positive; immediately start the case investigation so that we can get the negative individuals separated; look at how we separate the shifts and look at how we move forward to minimize as much as possible the affect of the potential spike.”
The Governor also said today (Wed.) she has no plans for restrictions to help mitigate the cases in Buena Vista county.
