(Johnston)– The Iowa Department of Public Health today (Tues.) reported 508 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the state’s total number of cases so far to 6,376.
There were 1,165 negative tests Monday bringing the total number of negative tests so far to 33,447. 1,673 tests were administered Monday. The department says roughly one in every 79 Iowans have been tested.
In addition, the agency reported nine additional deaths along with new outbreaks at seven more long-term care facilities in the state. None of those were in northwest Iowa.
