(St. Paul, Mn.)– The Minnesota Department of Health reported 221 new cases in the state this morning bringing the state’s total to 2,942.
Nobles County now has the fourth highest total of positive cases in Minnesota. 70 new cases were reported yesterday, bringing their total to 196. Jackson County is now reporting 5 positive cases, while Martin County holds at 41 and Cottonwood remains at 6.
The number of deaths statewide has increased by 21 to 200.
Only 9 counties in Minnesota have not reported a positive case.
Over 51,000 tests have been completed across the state.
Total requiring hospitalization is now at 712, with 268 of those still in the hospital. The number in ICU dropped for the fourth day in a row to 104.
1,536 patients in Minnesota no longer need to be isolated.
