(Spencer)– Elderbridge Agency on Aging and RIDES announced today (Mon.) they’re partnering to provide free grocery pick-up delivery for those 60 years and older.
The service is being made available to those residents in Orange City, Sheldon, Storm Lake, Spencer, Sioux Center, Spirit Lake, Estherville and Emmetsburg and will begin Tuesday (April 14th).
The service will be available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 am until 12 Noon.
Those wishing to utilize the service should contact the Hy-Vee store in their respective community. Once that has been done, you should call RIDES at (712) 240-0990 and ask for grocery delivery, and confirm with RIDES the time of availability. The schedule must then be confirmed with Hy-Vee, and you should list RIDES van as the pickup of your groceries or supplies.
RIDES will only deliver items to your door step.
