(Storm Lake)-The City of Storm Lake has issued a notice that use of play equipment, basketball courts, and other recreational fields in Storm Lake is no longer allowed in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Play equipment is roped off and designated with cautionary signage.
Officials say recreational use of the trails throughout Storm Lake can continue, although residents are urged to practice social distancing when using trails.
The City encourages residents to be wise in conducting their choices for outdoor activities. They will continue to monitor direction received from Federal and State sources and act accordingly.
