Fake Money Again Making The Rounds In The Area

(Spencer)– Some fake money is turning up again in the area.

Police in Spencer say they’ve had reports from numerous businesses that received bogus twenty dollar bills. Authorities say its believed most of the incidents occurred last weekend.

The fake bills are stamped with the words “prop copy”.

Residents and businesses are being told to look over their money and to report anything that doesn’t look right to your local law enforcement agency.
