(Milford)– A man accused of possessing stolen property and for driving a vehicle without the owner’s permission was arrested earlier this week in Milford.
40-year-old Joshua Richardson was charged with driving under suspension, failure to provide proof of financial liability, operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent, burglary in the 3rd degree, possession of stolen property, possession of burglar tools, possession of a weapon by a felon and burglary in the 3rd degree.
A criminal complaint says Richardson was arrested shortly after 4:00 pm Monday and that he was allegedly found to be in possession of property that was taken in a theft valued at more than $1,000. Richardson is accused of breaking into some outbuildings at 335 Okoboji Grove Road in Arnolds Park where the items were stolen.
The complaint also says Richardson had allegedly been driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent in the 2100 block of Highway 71 in Milford.
Richardson was being held in the Dickinson County jail on a $5,000 bond.
