Authorities Say Charges May Be Pending In Connection With Crash That Sent One Person To The Hospital

February 26, 2020

(Primghar)– A single vehicle crash last Friday in O’Brien county that sent one person to the hospital is still under investigation, and officials say charges may be pending in connection with it.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 52-year-old Sheila Lyman of Primghar was driving a 2018 Chevrolet eastbound in the 5700 mile of 390th Street when the vehicle left the road and went into the ditch just west of Redwood Avenue. Authorities say it then went airborne over Redwood Avenue and appears to have flipped end-over-end about five times before landing on its wheels.

Lyman was taken to Mercy One Hospital in Primghar.

Authorities say charges are pending the outcome of test results.

The crash occurred shortly after 12:30 AM.
