(Emmetsburg)– An investigation by Palo Alto county authorities into a report of an assault Monday resulted in the arrest of a Graettinger man.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to 508 South Washington Avenue in Graettinger around 7:44 am. A subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of 38-year-old Daniel Dunbar of Graettinger. Dunbar was charged with aggravated assault and serious assault for causing bodily injury.
The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office, Emmet County Conservation Office, Estherville police, the Iowa State Patrol and Graettinger ambulance assisted on the scene.
