(Sibley)– Another area law enforcement agency has announced its participation in a program to keep tobacco, alternative nicotine and vapor products out of the hands of youth. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is the latest to announce its involvement in the I-PLEDGE program through the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division.
The Sheriff’s Office will be conducting compliance checks at local establishments throughout the county. Officials say all 10 of them successfully passed checks last year.
I-PLEDGE places an emphasis on retailer training.
