(Estherville)– Trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College approved a new program offering at their regular monthly meeting Tuesday.
Tom Brotherton, Executive Dean of the Emmetsburg Campus, received approval to proceed with Cosmetology program. It will be located in the area of the Emmetsburg campus that was formerly occupied by the Business and Financial Aid offices.
Trustees also heard an update from Jolene Rogers, Executive Director of Community and Business Relations, on the development of a Professional Dog Grooming program, also at the Emmetsburg campus. A pilot offering of the program is set to begin March 16th. The program will consist of four grooming classes and eight business seminars.
