(Okoboji)-Lakeside Lab is accepting applications for summer camp scholarships, KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
Iowa Lakeside Laboratory is now accepting applications for financial assistance for their summer nature camps.
Executive Director Mary Skopec says applications should be submitted soon. “Camp registration opens on March 2nd at 10 o’clock in the morning, but we recommend if people are interested in having a scholarship for their student, to submit that to me at Lakeside Lab before March 2nd. A scholarship does not guarantee you a spot in camp, but it just guarantees you financial aid if we have it available.”
She notes that registration is available online. “There is a form on our website so if you just go to iowalakesidelab.org and if you take a look at that, there is just a pdf form that they can download and submit to us, and I’m happy to talk people through that if they’ve got questions.”
