Single Vehicle Crash On Hwy 60 Near Iowa-Minnesota Border Results In Minor Injuries

February 16, 2020

(Bigelow, Mn.)– Minor injuries were reported Saturday in a single vehicle crash on Highway 60 near the Iowa-Minnesota border.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 31-year-old Anibal Ronaldo Gonzalez Sebastian of Worthington lost control of a southbound 1993 Toyota while attempting to negotiate a curve just south of the state line. The vehicle went into the median and rolled end-over-end, coming to rest on its passenger side, partially blocking the northbound lane of the highway.

Two juvenile female passengers were taken to Osceola Regional Health Center in Sibley with minor injuries.

Gonzalez Sebastian was cited for failure to maintain control and no valid driver’s license.

Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.

The crash took place around 9:00 am.

The Sibley and Bigelow Fire Departments assisted on the scene.
