(Spencer)– A Ruthven man sustained minor injuries in a single vehicle crash Wednesday evening.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 24-year-old Hunter Horst was driving a 2007 Saturn Ion southbound in the 2900 mile of Highway 71 when he lost his visibility due to blowing snow. The vehicle collided with a snow drift and went into the ditch, coming to rest on its roof.
Horst sustained minor injuries but didn’t seek immediate treatment.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
The crash took place shortly after 7:00 pm.
