(Undated)– Multiple agencies will be participating in a special traffic enforcement project this Friday in Lyon, Osceola and Sioux counties.
A news release says two state and three county law enforcement agencies will be using both marked and unmarked vehicles as well as aircraft.
Authorities say the saturation project is intended to reduce the number of injury and fatality crashes. They’ll be focusing on seatbelt usage, impaired driving, distracted driving, speeding and other violations.
Officials say Iowa has had 204 crash fatalities so far this year.
