(Primghar)– A Primghar teen was injured in a single vehicle crash Saturday in O’Brien county.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 16-year-old Arryn McClaren was driving a 2004 Pontiac and was passing another vehicle. Deputies say the vehicle driven by McClaren traveled onto the shoulder and that the vehicle went into the ditch after she over-corrected. It then collided with a round bale and rolled several times, coming to rest on its wheels.
McClaren was taken by ambulance to the Sheldon hospital.
She was cited for failure to reduce speed to a reasonable and proper rate.
The crash took place shortly after 12:30 pm.
