Clay County Heritage to host Murder at the Mardi Gras February 15

As part of their 60th Anniversary Celebration, Clay County Heritage is hosting a Murder at the Mardi Gras event on Saturday, February 15th, at the Parker Museum.

Director Stephanie Horsley explains.  “We’ve been talking about this for a long time, how we thought Parker Museum might be a fun place to do a murder mystery.  So, we’ll have 20 people, participants come and have a Mardi Gras theme.  Those that want to be characters, the participants can be characters, and we encourage you to dress up a little bit if you have Mardi Gras beads or boas or masks, and then we’ll have really good appetizers and drinks.  Tickets are on sale now.  They are $25 each of $45 for couples.”

She adds that space is limited.  “We didn’t want to overcrowd at the Parker Museum.  We’ll be on the main floor so, we just wanted to make sure everyone could really get a good experience, and so, if you’re interested, please get your tickets right away before they sell out.”

Tickets are available at The Clay County Heritage Center in Spencer or click here
