(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake High School Jazz Band placed second in class 3A competition at the Iowa Lakes Community College Jazz Band Festival.
The band also recently received straight Division I ratings at the Iowa High School Music Association Jazz Band Festival that was held in Spirit Lake.
The musicians are now preparing for the NWIBA District Jazz Band Festival in LeMars February 17th.
