(Harris)– Charges have been filed against a Harris man who allegedly threatened some people with a hatchet in an incident this past Saturday (Jan. 18th).
60-year-old Danny Lynn Kramer was charged with assault while displaying a dangerous weapon and public intoxication.
A criminal complaint says the incident happened around 4:30 that afternoon when Kramer discovered a snowmobile had driven on his sidewalk at 214 Main Street in Harris.
Court documents say a witness reportedly saw Kramer walk to a nearby residence where he allegedly confronted the homeowner’s son in a garage, grabbing him while he raised a hatchet in a threatening manner. The son pushed Kramer away, telling him a friend who was at the same residence had been driving the snowmobile. Kramer then allegedly went into the residence yelling and displaying the hatchet in a threatening manner.
Authorities arrived on the scene and after performing a preliminary breath test determined Kramer was intoxicated.
A no contact order has also been issued barring Kramer from having any contact with the homeowner’s son.
