(Spencer)– A snowmobile crash Monday in Clay county injured a teen.
The Sheriff’s Office says a 15-year-old was driving a 2001 Arctic Cat snowmobile westbound in the ditch along 340th Street. The driver lost control of the snowmobile and struck a field drive. The snowmobile then became airborne, throwing the driver off after it landed.
The driver, who’s name hasn’t been released, was taken to Spencer Hospital. A news release says the teen sustained serious injuries but they weren’t life threatening.
