(Emmetsburg)– Authorities in Palo Alto county say an arrest has been made in a case involving a 2007 Chevrolet pickup that had been stolen back in November of last year from Wickman’s Auto Salvage near Emmetsburg.
As part of an ongoing investigation, the Sheriff’s Office says a search warrant was obtained and executed on a residence in Rodman. On Friday (Jan. 10th), authorities conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the 5400 block of 430th Street near Rodman. Authorities say it resulted in the arrest of 32-year-old Travis William Roberts of Rodman. He was charged with possession of stolen property…1st offense, possession of stolen property in the 2nd degree, possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine…1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended, fraudulent use of registration and failure to provide proof of financial liability…no insurance.
Roberts was booked into the Palo Alto county jail on a $25,000 cash only bond.
