(Spirit Lake)– We have an update on the story in which we first reported Wednesday regarding a dog found Tuesday by a Dickinson County Sheriff’s deputy south of Superior that had been shot and was badly injured. KUOO news has learned the owners of the dog contacted the veterinary clinic that’s caring for it, saying it is their dog. The owners apparently were out of town at the time the incident occurred.
Anyone with information into the incident is still being asked to contact the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
