(Le Mars)– A traffic stop Sunday west of Merrill in Plymouth county resulted in the arrests of two men on multiple charges.
Authorities say the driver, 25-year-old Matthew Murphy of Hartley, had a suspended driver’s license.
A subsequent search resulted in deputies finding a large amount of controlled substances.
Both Matthew Murphy and a passenger, 27-year-old Michael Murphy of Spencer, were arrested and booked into jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and failure to affix a drug tax stamp.
