Clay & Dickinson Co. ISU Extension And Outreach Offices Remind Everyone Of Upcoming “Annie’s Project”

January 08, 2020

(Milford)– Another reminder of a program that starts later this month that’s intended to assist women involved in agriculture. Amy Forette of Iowa State University Extension and Outreach says Annie’s Project is being offered jointly by the Clay and Dickinson County offices…Annie’s Project

“This is intended to guide women in making decisions for their farm. Women learn best from other women and this is a great opportunity. Annie’s Project takes advantage of this by the fact of creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment for women. We will be talking about managing finances, human resources, legal issues, marketing and production topics. This program will be held once a week and we will kick off our Annie’s Project on January 23rd. Again, this will be held in the evenings and it will be at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Milford. We will enjoy a meal, networking and an educational opportunity.”

You can get more information and sign up for the program by contacting Forette at (712) 262-2264.
