(Spencer)– Clay county authorities say several arrests have been made in connection with an investigation into a residential burglary back in August of last year at an acreage north of Peterson.
The Sheriff’s Office says Hunter Gentry, Elsa Buhr, Nathaniel Steffens, Forest Trosin and Shae Royster were arrested and charged with theft in the 1st degree, burglary in the 3rd degree and criminal mischief in the 3rd degree. All five suspects were booked into the Clay county jail on $25,000 cash-only bonds.
A large safe containing cash, jewelry and several firearms were stolen in the burglary which took place sometime between the afternoon hours of August 27th, 2019 and the early morning of August 28th, 2019.
