Broken Natural Gas Line Makes For Some Tense Moments

(Milford)– A broken natural gas line made for a few tense moments this (Wed.) morning on the west side of West Lake Okoboji.

Authorities say a contractor accidentally struck a one inch natural gas service line in the area of 1921 Manhatten Boulevard.

The Milford Fire Department was called to the scene around 9:45 am and stood by until crews from Black Hills Energy arrived. The line was repaired without incident.

The Milford Fire Department was on the scene about a half hour.
