We’re Learning A Few More Details About An Attempted Murder Suspect Wanted By SL Police

(Spirit Lake)– We’re learning a few more details about a suspect wanted for attempted murder in connection with a stabbing incident Monday night at the Spirit Lake Kum ‘n Go Store.

Online court records show 43-year-old Teangelo Grice had been arrested as recently as November 1st of this year by the Milford Police Department for domestic abuse assault, 3rd or subsequent offense. The records show Grice was released after making a court appearance and that a preliminary hearing in the case was set for 4:00 pm this Friday, November 22nd in Dickinson County District Court.

Grice is wanted on charges of attempted murder, domestic 3rd offense, violation of a no-contact order, false imprisonment, burglary in the 1st degree and assault displaying a dangerous weapon in connection with the alleged incident Monday evening.

Grice remained at-large at last report.

Spirit Lake police issued a statement Tuesday afternoon saying there is no danger to the public and that Monday night’s incident was not a random act of violence.

Police said in the same statement that the victim, who was taken to Lakes Regional Healthcare, was in good condition.
